We Welcome WAPPENBURY IN WARWICKSHIRE, UK to our Early Adopter Programme

The administrator and owner of Wappenbury Hall, the country estate which was home to the British marque's Jaguar founder Sir William Lyons for more than 50 years, in Wappenbury, Warwickshire, desires a way to easily manage event reservations to control the numbers of guests to the event, and a fast and secure way for guests to register and check-in at all events for supporting contact tracing.

LAPIS (Local Administration Platform System), will provide both a web platform dashboard for the administrators of Wappenbury and the event hosts to define check-in points, and will provide an interface of web and mobile app for visitors to check-in at the location in real time, or to make reservations for the location ahead of time.

Reservations and check-ins are limited by set capacities and each reservation and check-in is assigned a unique QR Code to verify the validity of each reservation. The beta test phase app will be tested with few smaller events prior the first main event with Auto Royale held on July 16, 2021.

In the UK rules on gathering are changing by May 17 to allow bigger groups of up to 30 people outdoors. The roadmap laid out on June 21 with all restrictions to end. As soon as the Warwickshire District County reopens, Wappenbury Hall can control capacity and enforce social distancing in real-time while complying to mandatory health regulations as well as provide to County a suitable and sufficient risk assessment to be able to certify future events as Covid-19 secure, as the the spokes person states:

“LAPIS is a suitable and sufficient risk assessment to be able to certify the events here as safe and comply effectively.”

For the main event LAPIS will collaborate with Auto Royale and give set up multiple roles for all event participants incl. Hire, organising the staging. More than two years in the making, Auto Royale is a modern reimagining of what the traditional Concours d’Elegance can be. An exciting new event concept where modern British culture meets world-class automotive machinery in a luxurious yet accessible setting with a feast of fine food, exciting entertainment and engaging retailing. More on: https://autoroyale.org.
